A pre-broadcast promotional video has arrived for Tetsuryō! meet with Tetsudō Musume, the original television anime project built around TOMYTEC's long-running railway character brand. The preview spotlights the show's brisk pacing alongside opening theme song GO! GO! RAILWAY!! performed by singer Asaka.
Scheduled to premiere on October 8 at midnight JST on Tokyo MX and BS Fuji, the series will be streamed internationally by HIDIVE across North America, the British Isles, and Australasia following an early world premiere screening at Anime NYC.
Railways and Regional Exploration
Conceived around the Tetsudō Musume franchise—which celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2025 with over 110 uniform-clad mascot characters representing genuine Japanese railway operators—the story follows four university students who belong to the Tetsudō Ryokō Dōkō-kai, or "Tetsuryo" travel club. Their journeys bring them into contact with railway personnel across Japan, balancing travelogue aesthetics with local transit culture.
The production brings together notable talent in lightweight slice-of-life and club-centric storytelling:
