The production committee behind Tetsuryō! meet with Tetsudō Musume, the much-anticipated original television anime inspired by TOMYTEC's iconic railway-themed collectible character franchise, has officially confirmed its opening and ending theme songs alongside broadcast details. Artist Asaka is officially attached to perform the high-energy opening theme song titled "GO! GO! RAILWAY!!", setting a vibrant tone for the railway-centric journey.
Centering around a narrative of passion and camaraderie, the series follows four devoted college students who form the Tetsudō Ryokō Dōkō-kai—affectionately abbreviated as the Tetsuryo Club. Their adventures take them across diverse regions where numerous Tetsudō Musume characters are actively engaged in railway operations. The main voice actress quartet comprising May Tachibana, Mao Shōji, Haruna Fukushima, and Hika Tsukishiro will collectively perform the ending theme song titled "Watashi Miraisen" (My Future Line).
Production Pedigree and Broadcast
Behind the project is a seasoned creative roster bringing the sprawling TOMYTEC franchise to life. Misuzu Hoshino, recognized for directorial and episode direction work on Laid-Back Camp, directs the series at East Fish Studio. Series composition and script supervision are handled by Aya Satsuki, while character designs are crafted by Hisanori Hashimoto. The foundational concept originates in collaboration with I've Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level novelist Kisetsu Morita.
The series is scheduled to premiere on October 8 at 12:00 a.m. JST across Tokyo MX and BS Fuji. International viewers will be able to follow the broadcasts concurrently, with HIDIVE licensing the series for streaming across North America, the UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand following an exclusive world premiere at this year's Anime NYC.
