The acclaimed coming-of-age story of Mitsumi Iwakura and Sohsuke Shima is set to continue. Studio P.A.Works and the production team behind Skip to Loafer have officially announced that the television anime’s second season will premiere in April 2027. The update arrived alongside a fresh teaser trailer and detailed adjustments to the project's core visual and narrative staff.
Director Kotomi Deai returns to lead the series following the widespread acclaim of the 2023 inaugural season. Joining the narrative steering committee for this new arc is Youko Yonaiyama, who will share series composition credits with Deai. On the musical front, composer Michiru joins returning artist Takatsugu Wakabayashi to shape the upcoming season's auditory tone.
