The annual flagship convention ONE PIECE DAY '26 concluded its two-day run at Makuhari Messe, highlighting major milestones for Eiichiro Oda's monumental franchise. This fifth edition celebrated the manga surpassing 600 million copies in global circulation, anchoring the event around the final reveal of the second global character popularity poll, WORLD TOP 100.
Global Popularity Crowns
With more than 13 million votes cast across 1,567 characters globally, the poll crowned its winner across a multi-stage broadcast. Original creator Eiichiro Oda will draw special illustrations for the top 30 characters, set to feature as a three-issue connected poster in Weekly Shonen Jump starting this December.
