Tokyo Game Show 2026 is set to transform the Makuhari Messe convention center in Chiba from September 17 to September 21, 2026. Heading into this year's expo, major publishers Shueisha Games and DMM GAMES have detailed their featured playable titles, exclusive booth novelties, and mainstage presentations that link popular anime properties with interactive media.
Shueisha Games Lineup
At the center of Shueisha Games' presence is the world's first public playtest of Jujutsu Kaisen RUMBLE: SURVIVATON. Developed by poncle—the creator behind the viral hit Vampire Survivors—the title adapts Jujutsu Kaisen into an intense eight-player battle royale action game where participants battle cursed spirits and rival sorcerers. Players will compete in eight-person matches to score points, with the top two players advancing to a final head-to-head duel. The title is currently planned for release across Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
Attendees who test the game or add it to their wishlist will receive a pixel sticker set and an exclusive cooling fan featuring artwork of Yuji Itadori newly drawn by animation studio MAPPA. Additionally, Shueisha Games will present UN:Me, an eerie adventure game planned for Switch 2, PS5, and PC. Conceived and written by Takuya Yamanaka and developed by historia, the game tasks players with navigating psychological trauma through conversations with four internal souls. Beyond playable stations, the booth will host an immersive walkthrough installation called the "Anxiety Corridor."
DMM GAMES Showcase
DMM GAMES will offer hands-on opportunities for Touken Ranbu Pazugiri, a new puzzle RPG scheduled for mobile and PC platforms. Players connect matching puzzle elements to guide their sword warriors through modified historical battlefields. Visitors to the booth can pick up branded novelties including character balloons, stickers, and traditional fans.
To celebrate the project, DMM GAMES will host a joint stage event on September 20 featuring veteran voice actors Kosuke Toriumi (Mikazuki Munechika), Kento Hama (Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki), and Hinata Tadokoro (Nisujihi Sadamune), along with franchise producer Digitaro. The presentation will broadcast live across official digital channels alongside the in-person event at Makuhari Messe.
