The global footprint of Eiichiro Oda's flagship franchise continues to expand. ONE PIECE has confirmed an official presence at CCXP26, South America's massive pop culture convention taking place in Sao Paulo, Brazil, from December 3 to December 6, 2026. The franchise exhibit will centerpiece towering inflatable balloon installations celebrating Monkey D. Luffy across his Gear 2, Gear 4, and Gear 5 transformations.
WIT Studio Remake Details
In addition to the visual installations, CCXP26 will host a dedicated exhibit for THE ONE PIECE, the upcoming television anime remake produced by WIT Studio. Scheduled to premier globally on Netflix in February 2027, the series reinterprets the foundational East Blue saga. Legendary voice actress Mayumi Tanaka will reprise her iconic role as Luffy. The first batch of seven episodes will drop simultaneously at launch, adapting approximately 50 chapters of the original manga through the conclusion of the Baratie Arc.
Upcoming Franchise Slate
The convention appearance forms part of an unusually busy release timeline across animation, gaming, and live-action adaptations:
- LEGO ONE PIECE Special: A two-episode animated special debuting September 29.
- ONE PIECE: Grand Gourmet: A management game launching October 23, 2026.
- Live-Action Season 3: Slated for 2027 featuring the newly announced Alabasta Arc cast.
