Manga artist Inaba is returning with a brand-new serialization titled Nukedashi ~Renai Kinshi no Kotō de Ore wa Ajin Joshi to Chome Chome Suru~ (Break Free ~Doing This and That With Demi-Human Girls on a Lonely Island Where Romance is Forbidden). The announcement arrived via the November issue of Kadokawa's Monthly Dragon Age magazine, confirming that the new project will officially premiere in the 37th issue of Young Dragon Age on October 26.
Creative Background
Inaba previously illustrated the manga adaptation of writer Teniwoha and character designer Riichu's light novel series Killed Again, Mr. Detective? (Mata Korosarete Shimatta no desu ne, Tantei-sama). That adaptation began serialization on Kadokawa's Dra Dra Flat web platform in July 2022 and reached its conclusion across two compiled volumes in March 2024.
With Killed Again, Mr. Detective? inspiring a television anime broadcast and receiving an English translation from Yen Press, Inaba's expressive line work and character designs have earned a steady following. The upcoming fantasy romance series promises a shift toward comedic, island-bound demi-human antics when it debuts later this month.
