Manga artist Yukai Asada, widely recognized for their intricate work on Battle Royale: Enforcers, is returning with an entirely new serialized project. Hero's Inc. officially announced via their HERO'S Web platform that Asada will debut a brand-new series titled Zombie Dakedo Shitsumon Aru? (I'm a Zombie, Any Questions?) on September 29.
The narrative unfolds within a ruined, post-apocalyptic Japan plagued by a catastrophic zombie outbreak triggered by a controversial lifespan-extending drug. Against this grim backdrop, the story follows a high school student named Mina and Haru, a breakdancing-vlogger-turned-half-zombie, as they forge an unlikely alliance to navigate the desolate landscape and fight for survival.
Asada previously launched the Battle Royale III: Enforcers manga in Akita Shoten's Bessatsu Young Champion magazine back in February 2022, which is published in English by Viz Media. With this upcoming September launch, Asada pivots from dystopian survival thrillers to a unique undead survival premise, promising striking visual direction and high-stakes tension on the HERO'S Web portal.
