Overlap's Comic Gardo digital manga platform has officially announced that manga artist Jun Miura will debut a brand-new series titled Moto Shinryū, Chippoke na Ningen ni Tensei Shita Kedo Musō Shimasu (The Divine Dragon Remains Overpowered Despite Reincarnating as a Small Human). The fantasy adventure is scheduled to launch on the website on October 8.
A Tale of Reincarnation and Overwhelming Might
The narrative follows a young boy who suddenly awakens to the ancient, god-like powers of a dragon. Utilizing his newfound supernatural strength, the protagonist sets out on a high-stakes quest to shield his loved ones from mounting perils. The project marks another major fantasy venture for Miura, who is well-regarded in the industry for dynamic action sequencing and world-building.
The Creator's Pedigree
Jun Miura is widely recognized by fans for illustrating the long-running manga adaptation of Masayuki Abe's Tsuyokute New Saga light novel series, which ran in AlphaPolis from 2014 to 2023 and later inspired a television anime adaptation streamed by Crunchyroll. With this new project on Comic Gardo, Miura returns to the fantasy genre with an original premise centered on mythological reincarnation and protective heroism.
