NetEase's global asymmetrical multiplayer phenomenon Identity V is expanding its television presence once again. Following its initial segment run earlier this year, the dedicated educational block Oha Suta Dai-go Gakuen will return for a second season on TV Tokyo’s long-running morning program Oha Suta starting September 8, 2026. Accompanying this broadcast return is a newly greenlit four-episode short anime spin-off scheduled to hit screens in late November 2026.
Gothic Horror Meets Classroom Life
Animation studio TypeZERO will handle animation production for the four-episode series, which reimagines the game's gothic survival premise into a lighthearted comedic school setting. The newly released key visual highlights returning protagonist Emma Woods (the Gardener) alongside Jack the Ripper formatted as a school faculty member, accompanied by three additional Survivor characters in school uniform attire.
Voice actress Chiwa Saito, who reprises her role as Emma Woods, expressed her enthusiasm for the expanding project and its upcoming animated adaptation.
I’m so happy to return to the world of Oha Suta Dai-go Gakuen! I'm looking forward to seeing Suba-nii, the Oha Kids, and all the viewers. Plus, there's going to be an anime this time! I'm excited to see what kind of story it will be.
