Studio Millepensee has dropped the very first official trailer alongside key visual artwork confirming a January 2027 premiere date for Season 2.
Director Shin Itagaki and character designer Hiromi Kimura are returning to steer the production following the series' 13-episode debut run back in 2023. The upcoming second season will follow Yuya Tenjo as he contends with the escalating forces of Evil while mastering a volatile new power connected to his recent victory over the Fist Saint.
The sequel expands its ensemble voice cast with two major additions: Ikumi Hasegawa steps into the role of Iris Knowblade, the formidable Sword Saint seeking a worthy opponent, while Sora Amamiya voices Mai Kagurazaka, a former shrine maiden summoned as a powerful Saintess capable of purifying Evil.
