The official website for the television anime adaptation of Midori Satō's Horror Collector (Kyōfu Collector) novel series has delivered a brand-new teaser trailer and promotional visual. Scheduled to premiere on NHK on October 10, the 12-episode adaptation brings Satō's eerie urban legends directly to television screens.
Cast and Production Team
The newly unveiled promotional footage also spotlights the core voice cast breathing life into the supernatural mystery. Hiiro Ishibashi steps into the role of Fushigi Senno, accompanied by Jun Fukuyama as Jimmy, Saori Hayami as Himitsu, and Nobuhiko Okamoto voicing the chilling Blue Umbrella Man.
Behind the camera, Yuki Inaba directs the series at Studio Palette, taking double duty with series composition. Character designs are managed by Kaori Yoshikawa, with musical compositions handled by Masato Kōda and audio direction under Tetsuya Gunji. Additionally, Shikao Suga performs both the opening theme song, titled "Kagebōshi" (Silhouette), and the ending theme.

Midori Satō launched the original novel series in June 2015 with supervision by Norio Tsuruta and artwork by Yon, with publisher Kadokawa releasing the 28th volume in May 2026.
