Hololive Production has officially revealed a striking new teaser visual for Odekake hololive (also known as Odeholo or by its English title, hololive: Let’s Head Out!), marking the agency's historic first foray into television anime. As part of Hololive's sweeping 10th-anniversary celebrations, the series will adopt an omnibus format, following twenty-nine of the agency's most iconic virtual talents on their relaxing days off as they travel across Japan to experience local cuisine and scenic sights.
The newly released key visual brings together all 29 participating VTubers in vibrant casual attire, setting a cozy and cheerful tone for the upcoming adaptation. Fans can expect appearances from generation pioneers and modern icons alike.
Production Staff & Creative Team
Animation duties for the project are being handled by Studio KAI, with Shunsuke Machitani sitting in the director's chair. Joining them is assistant director Ouri Yasukawa, alongside Kodai Minami spearheading series composition. Character designs are brought to life by Masatoshi Tsuji, translating the beloved virtual models into a fluid, expressive anime style under the original creative oversight of COVER Corporation.
While virtual YouTubers have steadily crossed over into mainstream entertainment, music videos, and 3D concert specials over the past several years, Odekake hololive represents a major milestone by giving the talent ensemble their own dedicated narrative television broadcast.
