Author Nikita Kitagawa's exploit-driven fantasy novel series, officially titled Saijaku na Boku wa "Kabenuke Bug" de Nariagaru: Kabe wo Surinuketara, Shokai Clear Houshuu wo Mugen Kaishuu Dekimashita!, is officially making the jump to screen. An official project portal launched to announce that a television anime adaptation is currently in production with a planned broadcast window in 2027.
Creative Team & Cast
Animation production will be handled as a collaborative effort between studios Durandal and Tengu Kobo. Director Haruki Kasugamori (Astro Note) is set to helm the adaptation, with series composition overseen by Hiroshi Hosokawa. Character design duties are split between Hiroshi Miyamoto (Precure Dream Stars! Movie) and Sumakidori (Miru: Watashi no Mirai).
The initial voice cast features Riko Aono starring as Henri alongside Momoka Terasawa as Elerate. The story originally debuted as a web novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou in early 2021 before being acquired by Kodansha with illustrations by Meto Sasame. A parallel manga adaptation drawn by Yui Hata continues serialization on Kodansha's Magazine Pocket app. Additional production details are expected to drop via the official website ahead of its 2027 debut.
