During the Aniplex One Focus livestream event, new promotional footage and cast additions were unveiled for Rakuen Tsuihō -Expelled from Paradise- Kokoro no Resonance (Heart's Resonance), the highly anticipated feature-length sequel to the critically acclaimed 2014 sci-fi anime film Expelled from Paradise. Fans eagerly awaiting the return of the franchise's distinct cybernetic aesthetic were treated to fresh character details and production milestones.
The Creative Core Returns
The upcoming theatrical production reunites the core creative team behind the original feature. Director Seiji Mizushima teams up once again with renowned scriptwriter Gen Urobuchi of Nitroplus, character designer Masatsugu Saitō, and composer NARASAKI. Animation production is anchored by Toei Animation, ensuring the continuation of the distinct visual style that defined the original cybernetic odyssey.
Expanded Voice Cast and Franchise Expansion
Rie Kugimiya reprises her iconic starring role as Angela Balzac. The newly announced voice cast expanding the cinematic universe features:
