As Detective Conan moves through its landmark 30th anniversary celebration, TMS Entertainment has shared official preview stills and plot details for upcoming broadcast episodes. Episode 1215, titled Akaneiro no Senshūraku (Zenraku), is scheduled to air on October 3, 2026, bringing a chilling theatrical mystery to screens nationwide.
The Puppet Master Murders
The narrative adapts the popular story arc featured in volume 106 of Gosho Aoyama's original manga serialization. The plot kicks off at the Naniwa Art Theater, where an actor is found dead in a disturbing pose, resembling a marionette. A cryptic message left on the victim's smartphone reads, 'I am the puppet demon.'
Heiji Hattori, who had planned to make an important confession to Kazuha at the nearby Naniwa Harukas, instead finds himself pulled into the homicide investigation alongside Conan Edogawa. However, the killer mocks the detectives by striking again, leaving a second victim with the same unnatural, puppet-like posture.
The string of tragedies orchestrated by the puppet demon proves to be merely the opening act of a much darker plot. TMS Entertainment continues to animate the long-running mystery series under the direction of Yasuichiro Yamamoto and Fuminori Kamonaka, with character designs by Masatomo Sudou and musical composition by Katsuo Ohno.
Episode 1215 will broadcast on Yomiuri Telecasting Corporation and Nippon Television networks on October 3, 2026, kicking off a thrilling three-week television event.
