An atmospheric new trailer and key visual have been revealed for the ongoing supernatural comedy television anime Dara-san of Reiwa (Reiwa no Dara-san). The latest promotional assets spotlight the titular spirit Dara-san alongside her older shrine maiden sister, giving audiences a fresh look at the series as its broadcast continues following a July 2, 2026 premiere in Japan.
The newly unveiled trailer features the theme song “Madara” performed by the musical duo REIRIE, who are also responsible for the series' ending theme song titled “Hinata Bokko.”

Animation production for the series is handled by Asahi Production. Masato Suzuki, known for his work on Gushing Over Magical Girls, sits in the director's chair, while Koichi Kikuta—recognized for KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World!—brings the character designs to life.

The original comedy horror manga is written and illustrated by Haruomi Tomotsuka. It began serialization on Kadokawa’s ComicWalker and Nico Nico Seiga platforms in March 2022, accumulating eight tankobon volumes. North American publisher Yen Press licenses the manga for English publication, setting the stage for international fans to experience the charmingly eerie supernatural comedy.
