Studio Pierrot has officially dropped a vibrant new trailer and main visual for the upcoming second cour of Magical Sisters LuluttoLilly. The fresh promotional footage gives fans an early listen to the new opening theme song, setting the stage for the next phase of the magical girl series as it prepares for its October 4, 2026 Japanese broadcast.
Theme Songs and Production Lineup
The newly unveiled second cour opening theme is titled "Swingin’ Magic" and is performed by the South Korean girl group ILLIT. Meanwhile, the ending theme, "Dream À La Mode," is performed by LuluttoLilly, the fictional musical unit voiced by the series' two lead voice actresses portraying Lilly and Lulu.
The series is helmed by Shintaro Doge serving as director and original character designer. Production is anchored by Studio Pierrot, continuing the studio's legendary legacy within the magical girl genre. The creative staff also features assistant director Mitsuyuki Masuhara, series composer and scriptwriter Yuko Kakihara, alongside character designers Namiko Torii, Hirono Nishiki, and Asami Sodeyama.
