Studio Pierrot has officially dropped the preview stills and synopsis for Episode 13 of Magical Sisters Lulu To Lily, titled "Secret Message", marking the highly anticipated premiere of the anime's second cour on October 4, 2026.
Created as an original television series by legendary animation house Studio Pierrot, this latest entry continues their celebrated magical girl tradition. Shintaro Doke serves as director and original character designer, while Mei Tachibana voices Fuka Nonoyama and Konpe to Lily, alongside Nao Kojika voicing Riu Nonoyama and Mashu Lulu. Following a successful first run from April to June 2026, the series expands its magical narrative this autumn.
Uncovering Secrets Behind the Stage
The story follows two estranged sisters: cheerful elementary student Fuka and reserved junior high student Riu. When both accidentally acquire magical capabilities from mysterious cosmic entities, they face strict conditions: a one-time one-year limit and absolute secrecy. Without knowing each other's hidden identities, both sisters embark on parallel careers as rising idols.
In the upcoming Episode 13, Riu begins noticing striking similarities between Fuka's behavior and Lily's persona. Suspecting that her younger sister might also possess magical gifts, Riu decides to tail her in secret. Meanwhile, Production Once More experiences a sudden shake-up with the arrival of a mysterious new rookie.
The second cour premieres on October 4 across TOKYO MX, ABC TV, TV Aichi, BS Nippon TV, and AT-X, with streaming options rolling out immediately following broadcast.
