Bandai Namco Filmworks and Studio Pierrot have officially debuted the primary promotional video for the second quarter of Mahō no Shimai Lulutto Lilly (Magical Sisters Lulutto Lilly). The trailer highlights fresh musical directions, previewing the upcoming opening theme song titled "Swingin' Magic" performed by K-pop girl group ILLIT.
The narrative revolves around sisters Fū and Rui, whose relationship has cooled over time. Everything shifts when unexpected extraterrestrial encounters grant both siblings magical abilities that instantly transform them into their ideal adult forms. Bound by a strict year-long limit and the absolute rule that their secrets must remain hidden, the duo embarks on dual careers as idols without knowing each other's hidden identities.
Broadcast Schedule & Production Details
The second part of the magical girl series is scheduled to premiere on October 4 at 10:30 p.m. JST across Tokyo MX, alongside broadcasts on ABC TV, TV Aichi, BS NTV, and AT-X. In addition to the opening theme, the central character unit Lulutto Lilly—featuring voice actors May Tachibana and Nao Ojika—will perform the ending theme song titled "Dream a la Mode."
Behind the lens, Shintarō Dōge directs the series at Studio Pierrot while handling original character designs. Series composition and script supervision are managed by Yūko Kakihara, supported by character designers Namiko Tori, Hirono Nishiki, and Asami Sodeyama.
