The official website and social channels for Code Geass: Lost Stories have announced that the smartphone and PC action role-playing title will officially end service on December 7. Alongside the shutdown notice, sales of in-game currency Sakuradite, the Lost Stories Pass, and Starter Packs have ceased immediately.
Developed by f4samurai and published by DMM Games, the title originally debuted in May 2022 following a protracted development cycle that saw its initial 2018 browser-game concept entirely rebooted. The action title featured an original theme song titled Pendulum performed by veteran rock band FLOW. While the international English localization managed a brief run from September 2023 through August 2024, the Japanese server will wrap up operations shortly before the overarching franchise marks its upcoming 20th anniversary milestones.
Even as Lost Stories bows out, the multimedia empire shows no signs of slowing down. Developer JORO recently launched a separate survival-action mobile title titled Code Geass Knightmare Survivor, while broader commemorative projects continue to roll out, including the anime work Code Geass Hoshi Oi no Aspal, new stage musical adaptations, and retrospective exhibitions.
