The official website for the television anime adaptation of Kuzushiro's acclaimed drama manga Amayo no Tsuki (The Moon on a Rainy Night) has unveiled its first promotional video, alongside key production staff and the primary voice cast. The project is officially slated to make its broadcast debut in 2027.
Stepping into the starring roles are voice actresses Sora Amamiya as Kanon Oikawa and Iori Saeki as Saki Kindaichi. The animation production is underway at studio CompTown, with Tomoe Makino sitting in the director's chair. Series composition and scriptwriting duties are being handled by Shougo Yasukawa, while Ayumi Nishihata adapts the original character designs for animation. Musical accompaniment will be composed by jizue.

Franchise Roots
Kuzushiro launched the original girls' love web manga on Kodansha's Comic Days platform in June 2021, steadily building a dedicated readership through its nuanced portrayal of human relationships and musical themes. Kodansha USA publishes the series in English, introducing the touching narrative to an international audience.
