Animation studio Fanworks has announced that Yūsanchi! from Yū-hachi, an omnibus short anime compiling three distinct web manga series by creator Yū-hachi, will officially premiere on October 5. The broadcast will air across Japan during morning and afternoon programming slots on Fuji TV's Nonstop! and Kansai TV's Shunkan Live Toretate!, followed by digital distribution on FOD, TVer, and Fuji TV's official anime YouTube channel.
Alongside the premiere announcement, Fuji TV unveiled the debut promotional video showcasing the distinctive bite-sized aesthetic of the omnibus project:
Creative Voices and Cast
The production taps seasoned comedic talent to helm the individual segments. Rarecho, widely recognized for writing and directing Sanrio's hit comedy Aggretsuko, oversees both direction and screenplays for Miseban no Spis and Ah, Tanuki wa Mō Dame Desu. Meanwhile, Gaku Kinoshita, known for his work on Sumikko Gurashi: Koko ga Ochitsukun Desu, directs and scripts the Dekai Hachi vignettes under Fanworks.
The voice cast features an eclectic mix of talent lending personality to Yū-hachi's surreal characters:

Web Origins
The omnibus unites three separate premise-driven stories: Dekai Hachi follows the gentle daily routine of a roughly 40-centimeter creature living alongside ordinary humans; Miseban no Spis centers on an unexpected fish that abruptly shows up to run shop; and Ah, Tanuki wa Mō Dame Desu highlights the exploits of a tanuki who is rented out to various households.
Creator Yū-hachi initially built an audience by serializing Dekai Hachi and Miseban no Spis independently on pixiv, prompting Square Enix to compile Miseban no Spis into print in July 2024. Parallel to this, Yū-hachi launched Ah, Tanuki wa Mō Dame Desu on social media and Kadokawa's KadoComi web service, with a standalone physical volume published in June 2025.
