Shueisha's iconic shojo manga publication Ribon has expanded its multimedia footprint by premiering the first episode of the short anime adaptation Hanarabeez on its official YouTube channel. Created by manga artist Yukari Kaneko, the unique project translates the eccentric charm of anthropomorphic dental anatomy into motion, kicking off a scheduled three-episode release window that continues through November.
The surreal conceptual foundation of the series focuses on a whimsical premise where every character represents a tooth. The Ribon editorial department describes the project as a laid-back, cute, and slightly surreal glimpse into the daily lives of these dental entities. Voice actors Hana Satō and Yūki Urushiyama helm the principal cast alongside veteran creator FROGMAN, widely recognized for his work on Eagle Talon.
