Yen Press has officially announced a massive wave of nineteen new license acquisitions during its industry panel at Anime NYC. The expansive lineup encompasses fourteen manga series, three light novel titles, and two dedicated audiobook adaptations, catering to a diverse spectrum of readership preferences ranging from dark fantasy and mythology-inspired anthologies to heartwarming romantic comedies.
Among the standout manga acquisitions is Exchange Parties with Anthropomorphic Figures, a luxurious anthology curated by the HARTA Editorial Department that features contributions by acclaimed creators including Ryoko Kui (Delicious in Dungeon), Suzuka Morino, and Hachi Inaba. Other notable additions include Muromaki’s full-color yuri sequel Lilies in Love for 101 Days, Gagane’s brutal battle royale thriller Monster of Absolute Evil, and Ei Ohitsuji’s witty Greek mythology comedy The Great Yet Flawed Gods.
The publisher's prose imprint, Yen On, is set to enrich its light novel catalog with titles such as Chizuru Mizushina’s sky-faring adventure Kafka’s Journey, illustrated by Haruyuki Morisawa, and Hibariyu’s gender-swap romantic comedy Oh Boy, Was I Wrong About Her. Meanwhile, the Yen Audio imprint will introduce high-profile audiobook adaptations, featuring Mamoru Hosoda’s celebrated narrative Mirai and Yomu Mishima’s sci-fi battle action title Valkyrie Bullet.
