The narrative surrounding Kazumi Yamashita's critically engaging Seinen manga Twisted Sisters is officially approaching its climax. According to the publication notices inside the 10th compiled book volume, the series will conclude with its upcoming 11th volume, slated to hit shelves in early spring 2027.
First launched in Kodansha's Morning magazine back in June 2021, the story follows manga creator Rikako as she reunites with her estranged sisters following the reading of their late father's dying will. The document demands that the siblings live together under one roof inside a sprawling mansion—a premise that quickly complicates when Rikako discovers a hidden sixth sister she never knew existed.
Expanding the Yamashita Portfolio
Yamashita is widely celebrated for complex, character-driven storytelling, a reputation solidified by her previous major work Land, which ran from 2014 to 2020 and is currently available in English via Yen Press. Alongside the impending manga conclusion for Twisted Sisters, fans of Yamashita's distinct artistic voice have even more content to anticipate, with a live-action television adaptation set to premiere in January 2027. Meanwhile, English-speaking readers can continue exploring her broader bibliography through Yen Press, which also licenses her earlier work Wonder Boy.
