Hakusensha has listed the upcoming sixth compiled book volume of Naoki Shigeno's historical comedy manga Sanada Damashii as the final publication in the series. The final volume is officially scheduled to ship to Japanese retailers on November 27, bringing a definitive close to the Sengoku period chronicle.
Launched initially in 2015 on Hakusensha's Young Animal Densi web platform, Sanada Damashii utilizes a four-panel comic format to chronicle the exploits and historical maneuvers of the famous Sanada clan during Japan's tumultuous Warring States era. Following the closure of the Densi platform, the series transitioned to the Manga Park app, where it continued its serialized run.

Author Naoki Shigeno is widely recognized for historical gag manga, most notably Nobunaga no Shinobi (Ninja Girl & Samurai Master), which recently concluded its long-running serialization in July 2025 after spanning 23 volumes. That flagship title also inspired a three-season television anime adaptation broadcast between 2016 and 2018, which was streamed internationally by Crunchyroll. With the conclusion of Sanada Damashii, Shigeno wraps up another significant chapter in historical manga serialization.
