Voice actors Kazuki Ura and Nobuhiko Okamoto, currently starring in the dark fantasy anime Tougen Anki, are stepping out of the recording booth and into the variety spotlight. The duo is slated to appear as featured guests on VS. Chottokyū, the inaugural Nippon TV冠番組 for the hit dance and vocal group Chottokyū, which recently celebrated its 15th anniversary with a sold-out two-day Tokyo Dome run.
During their appearance, Ura and Okamoto split into two rival camps—Team Ura and Team Okamoto—alongside Chottokyū members Kai, Yuuki, Takashi, and Masahiro. The episode centers around playful, high-energy challenges designed to test both their variety instincts and professional vocal talents under pressure.
The first main segment, the What-If Situation Voice Acting Telephone Game, requires participants to deliver memorable lines from Tougen Anki—such as the protagonist Shiki Ichinose's raw declaration, "The real demons are you lot!"—under absurd scenarios like shouting it while plunging down a roller coaster. Players must rely purely on audio cues to guess the hidden context and pass the message down the line.
