The 33rd chapter of The Marshal King manga, created by acclaimed illustrator Boichi, has officially announced that the series will reach its dramatic conclusion in its next installment on October 16. The high-octane narrative previously entered a hiatus in December before making its long-awaited return to publication in September.
Launched in Shueisha's digital platform Shonen Jump+ back in February 2025, The Marshal King brought Boichi's trademark kinetic artwork to an American Wild West setting. Known globally for his breathtaking visual work on Dr. Stone and One Piece: Ace's Story, the artist crafted a gritty tale centered on desperadoes and the lawmen tracking them across frontier landscapes. North American publisher Viz Media alongside MANGA Plus has brought the series to international English readers.
Boichi's Illustrious Career
Before helming The Marshal King, Boichi cemented his status as one of modern manga's most recognizable visual powerhouses through massive hits like Sun-Ken Rock. His landmark collaboration with author Riichirou Inagaki on the 26-volume Dr. Stone series in Weekly Shonen Jump ran from 2017 to 2022, inspiring a critically acclaimed multi-season television anime adaptation that recently culminated with Dr. Stone: Science Future and subsequent franchise expansions.
