The dark action manga Tank Chair (Tank Chair -Sensha Isu-) by Manabu Yashiro, serialized in Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Sirius with over one million copies in circulation, is making its highly anticipated jump to television animation. Ahead of its broadcast debut, production details, a striking key visual, and preview stills for the premiere episode have been unveiled.
The series follows Taira Nagi, once the world's most formidable hitman, who was left unresponsive in a wheelchair after taking a barrage of bullets to protect his sister, Shizuka. Her desperate solution to awaken him? Subjecting him to intense combat against dangerous rivals so that pure, concentrated murderous intent can fully revive her brother. This brutal dynamic forms the core of a violent urban thriller centered on an unbreakable sibling bond.
