Publisher and developer Amata Games has officially confirmed that its upcoming horror visual novel Shinjuku Anomaly will arrive on PC via Steam on September 30. Alongside the premiere date confirmation, the studio rolled out a chilling new trailer offering a glimpse into the eerie nocturnal atmosphere awaiting players in Tokyo's neon-lit district.
The Night Shift Protocol
Players step into the shoes of a protagonist working a seemingly mundane part-time job with a terrifying twist: photographing supernatural anomalies lurking in Shinjuku after dark. Survival relies on strict adherence to field guidelines issued by the agency. Aspiring photographers must capture clear photographic evidence of targets while maintaining a safe distance before exhausting their limited film supply and retreating to safety.
Designed with international accessibility in mind, the release supports English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese right out of the box. Fans looking to experience the unsettling nightlife can already visit the official Steam store page to wishlist the title ahead of its September 30 debut.
