Japanese developer Lobstudio has officially confirmed that its quirky comedy-mystery adventure title Zombie Police: Midsummer Unhappy New Year is set to arrive on PC via Steam on November 22. Players eager to experience the supernatural detective story on console will have to wait slightly longer, as the Nintendo Switch port is scheduled for a subsequent release window.

The narrative puts players right into the decaying shoes of Akemi Kabane, a zombie detective gifted with bizarre supernatural perception. Alongside fearless partner Detective Zomby and the deadpan Yasu Tamura, Akemi must unravel a bizarre case involving a popular VTuber tangled in a gruesome incident, as well as a creeping chill threatening to trap Shimofuri Village in an eternal frost.
