The virtual realms of Shangri-La Frontier are officially expanding once more. Production committee representatives have unveiled the first key visual and confirmed a January 10, 2027 premiere date for Season 3. Animation studio C2C is returning to helm the project, which will broadcast across two consecutive cours to bring the highly anticipated Galaxia Heroes: Chaos action sequence to life.
The continuation follows the massive success of the previous broadcast blocks, which cemented the adaptation of Katarina and Ryosuke Fuji’s hit manga as a cornerstone of modern action-adventure anime. Director Toshiyuki Kubooka, character designer Kurashima Ayumi, and composer trio Hirokawa Keiichi, Takada Ryuichi, and Takahashi Kuniyuki have established a high benchmark for the series' visual and auditory design.

Rakuro Hizutome, better known by his player handle Sunraku, continues his journey through the monumental virtual reality universe alongside a stellar voice cast. Yuma Uchida reprises his role as Sunraku, supported by Azumi Waki as Psyger-0, Yoko Hikasa as Arthur Pencilgon, Makoto Koichi as Oicazzo, Rina Hidaka as Emul, and Akio Otsuka as Vysache.
Originating from Katarina's ongoing web novel serialized on Shosetsuka ni Naro and Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine adaptation, the franchise continues to captivate audiences with its unique blend of trash-gaming survival tactics and high-tier virtual challenges.
