Kadokawa has expanded its dark fantasy universe, pulling back the curtain on a second teaser key visual and a brand-new promotional video for Sentenced to Be a Hero -Game of the GODDESS-, the upcoming mobile game adaptation set within the Sentenced to Be a Hero franchise.
Scheduled for release on iOS and Android devices, the project is being developed by VIC Game Studios and published by Kadokawa. Original light novel author Rocket Shokai is actively supervising the game's narrative scenario, ensuring continuity with the source material.
Returning Voices and New Recruits
The adaptation brings back core members of the original anime voice cast to reprise their roles. Fans can look forward to Yōhei Azakami returning as Xylo Forbartz, Mayu Iizuka as Teoritta, Shizuka Ishigami as Patausche Kivia, and Shun Horie as Dotta Luzulas.
Alongside familiar faces, the mobile title introduces original characters to expand the roster. Miyu Tomita joins the cast as Noi Marjella, and Fūka Izumi steps into the role of Lisabella.
Franchise Momentum
The announcement arrives as the broader franchise continues to grow. Rocket Shokai originally launched the light novel series on Kadokawa's Kakuyomu web platform in October 2020, followed by print publication featuring illustrations by Mephisto. Following the television anime adaptation's broadcast, Kadokawa has also confirmed a second season is in production, alongside a character popularity poll running through November 2027.
