Officially titled GACHIAKUTA: BREAKOUT, the survival action RPG received its maiden gameplay showcase, outlining a 2027 launch window for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
Survival RPG Adaptation
Initially tracked under the working title Gachiakuta: The Game, this interactive project is designed to mirror the distinct dystopian atmosphere established in the manga and television anime adaptation produced by Studio Bones. Players will step directly into the brutal world of the Pit, navigating the refuse-choked terrain where discarded human waste mutates into ferocious monsters.
Kei Urana originally launched the manga in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine back in February 2022, featuring graffiti designs by Hideyoshi Ando. Kodansha USA Publishing handles the English edition, following Rudo's grim descent into the abyss after being wrongfully accused of murder and cast away from the floating town's upper echelons.

This gaming announcement arrives on the heels of major multimedia expansion for the property. Studio Bones' television anime adaptation concluded its 24-episode broadcast run in December 2025, airing across TBS and affiliated networks while streaming globally via Crunchyroll with simultaneous dubs.
