Kadokawa has rolled out the second main promotional video and an expanded voice cast for the upcoming adaptation of Keiko Shibata's immensely popular picture book series, Pan Dorobō (Bread Thief). Scheduled to premiere on October 2, the project brings Shibata's whimsical, bakery-heist adventures to life under the banner of Shinei Animation.
The newly unveiled trailer offers fans a crisp preview of the ending theme song "Pang Pang Pang" performed by iconic pop artist Kyary Pamyu Pamyu. Alongside the musical preview, production updates confirm several high-profile additions to the voice cast. Atsumi Tanezaki joins the ensemble as Nazo no France Pan (Mysterious French Bread), while Kana Hanazawa steps into the role of the series narrator. They join Ayaka Asai as the titular bread bandit, Aki Toyosaki as Nise Pan Dorobō, and Junichi Suwabe as Panya no Ojisan.
