The upcoming television anime adaptation of Ryūto and Tetsuhiro Nabeshima's light novel series Reborn as a Space Mercenary: I Woke Up Piloting the Strongest Starship! (Mezametara Saikyō Sōbi to Uchūsen Mochi Datta no de, Ikkodate Mezashite Yōhei Toshite Jiyū ni Ikitai) will officially premiere on October 4. Revealed during the Aniplex One Focus livestream event, the series is slated to broadcast on Tokyo MX starting at 9:30 p.m. JST, with global streaming handled by Crunchyroll.
Production Team and Musical Talent
Animation production is being handled at Studio A-Cat under the direction of Norihiko Nagahama. Series composition and screenplay duties fall to Takamitsu Kōno, while Masami Sueoka adapts the original character designs for animation. Jin Aketagawa serves as sound director, with music composed by Kenta Higashiohji.
Veteran rock band FLOW performs the opening theme song "Unstoppable," while heavy metal trio ASTERISM contributes the ending theme song titled "My Way."
