As the new adaptation of Rumiko Takahashi's legendary martial arts romantic comedy continues its broadcast run, studio MAPPA has unveiled the official preview stills and story synopsis for Episode 25, titled "Training DE Dinner." Scheduled to air on October 3, 2026, the upcoming episode brings another chaotic clash between Ranma Saotome and his eternal rival, Ryoga Hibiki.
Ryoga's Vengeance and Cologne's Scheme
Just as summer vacation approaches, Ryoga sends Ranma a formal challenge. Despite Ryoga's intense determination, the gap in skill between the two martial artists has widened considerably due to Ranma's rigorous training under Cologne, Shampoo's formidable great-grandmother. Defeated and burning with humiliation, Ryoga finds himself approached by Cologne—whose true motives remain shrouded in mystery.
The series, directed by Konosuke Uda with series composition by Kimiko Ueno and character designs by Hiromi Taniguchi, brings together a stellar returning voice cast including Kappei Yamaguchi as Ranma Saotome (Male), Megumi Hayashibara as Ranma (Female), and Noriko Hidaka as Akane Tendo. Legendary performers such as Koichi Yamadera (Ryoga) and Ako Mayama (Cologne) also reprise their iconic roles in MAPPA's modern production.
