The long-awaited adaptation of Toshiaki Iwashiro’s cult-classic manga Psyren has released a fresh promotional trailer, key visual, and crucial cast additions ahead of its scheduled October 2026 premiere. Confirmed previously as a definitive, complete adaptation covering the entire narrative arc, the series is set to stream internationally via Crunchyroll.
Cast Additions and Production Pedigree
The stellar voice cast features Rikuya Yasuda headlining as protagonist Ageha Yoshina alongside Mayuko Kazama as Sakurako Amamiya. They are joined by a powerhouse supporting ensemble including Shunsuke Takeuchi, Soma Saito, and Yukihiro Nozuyama. Two fresh additions expand the roster: Yuhko Kaida stepping into the role of Matsuri Yagumo, and Nobuyuki Hiyama voicing the formidable antagonist Dolkey.
Recording has been an absolute blast, working alongside such an amazing staff and talented cast. Matsuri may love her drinks, but she’s also a dependable, big-sister type, and I’m having a fantastic time giving the role everything I’ve got.
