The long-awaited television anime adaptation of Toshiaki Iwashiro's cult-classic sci-fi action manga Psyren has officially locked in its premiere date. The production committee announced that the series will debut on October 5 at 11:00 p.m. across Tokyo MX, BS11, and Sun TV, bringing the beloved survival-game narrative into the modern animation landscape.
Alongside the scheduling update, the official channels introduced two notable additions to the voice cast. Yuuko Kaida will step into the role of Matsuri Yakumo, while Nobuyuki Hiyama joins the ensemble as Dolki. The production is spearheaded by director Katsumi Ono at studio Satelight, with series composition managed by Shin Yoshida. Character designs are being crafted by Shiro Ookuma, and creature design is led by Yoshitaka Taniguchi. Musical duties are shared among a powerhouse trio of composers: Takashi Oomama, Tatsuhiko Saiki, and Shuu Kanematsu.
