The upcoming Overgeared anime has revealed its second full trailer, a new key visual, and six additional cast members ahead of its October 2 premiere. Crunchyroll previously confirmed that it would stream the anime.
Based on the popular Korean web novel by Saenal and the webtoon adaptation by Monohumbug (REDICE STUDIO) and Team Argo, Overgeared follows Youngwoo Shin, a struggling gamer whose life changes after he gets a legendary blacksmith’s inheritance inside the virtual reality MMORPG Satisfy.
The expanded voice cast now includes:

- Shuntaro Takayama as Toon
- Riho Sugiyama as Jishuka (NEW)
- Masaaki Mizunaka as Toban (NEW)

- Katsuya Fukunishi as Vantner (NEW)
- Kohei Amasaki as Pon (NEW)
- Shunichi Toki as Faker (NEW)
Ayako Kono (Sword Art Online Progressive) is directing the anime at J.C.STAFF, with Kenta Ihara (Sentenced to Be a Hero) handling series composition, Ryosuke Tanigawa designing the characters, Yoshiaki Fujisawa composing the music, and Yoshikazu Iwanami serving as the sound director. The new trailer features the opening theme song “SATISFY” by Re:name.
Originally serialized as a web novel before becoming one of REDICE STUDIO’s most successful webtoon adaptations, Overgeared joins a growing lineup of Korean fantasy series receiving anime adaptations following Solo Leveling, Tower of God, and The Beginning After the End.
