Streaming platform OceanVeil has officially secured its first major Korean animation title with the acquisition of One-Room TA, a romance series based on creator Jibung's popular webtoon. The uncensored broadcast is scheduled to launch on November 13 at 10:00 a.m. PST, featuring weekly episode drops that will continue through December 25.
Korean Animation Expansion
Produced by South Korean streaming company Laftel, the animated adaptation originally debuted domestically in August 2026. The story follows university student U-yun Song after he confesses his feelings to graduate teaching assistant Jin-hyeong Woo. Once the couple moves in together, U-yun discovers that behind his partner's reserved academic exterior lies an eccentric enthusiast of boys-love fiction who habitually attempts to reenact dramatic romantic tropes in real life.
The core voice cast features established voice talent, including:
- Beom-sik Shin as U-yun Song
- Seong-woo Kang as Jin-hyeong Woo
- Eui-jin Jung as Eun-oh Ji
This release marks a notable strategic pivot for OceanVeil as the platform broadens its portfolio beyond traditional Japanese anime to include high-profile webtoon adaptations from South Korea. International readers interested in the original comic can access the official English release via Lezhin.
