Aniplex USA has premiered the official English-subtitled main trailer for the television anime adaptation of Muchimaro's hit four-panel manga Even the Student Council Has Its Holes! (Seitokai ni mo Ana wa Aru!). Alongside the promotional video, the company confirmed that the series will begin streaming on OceanVeil, bringing the chaotic student council comedy to international audiences right as its Japanese broadcast kicks off.
Studio Pedigree and Production Staff
The adaptation is being brought to life by animation studio Passione, under the direction of Naoyuki Tatsuwa, whose previous directorial credits include Nisekoi - False Love and Promise of Wizard. Character designs and chief animation supervision are handled by Ryo Imamura, recognized for his work on ONIMAI: I'm Now Your Sister!. Meanwhile, the series scripts and series composition are overseen by veteran writer Masahiro Yokotani, known for his work on Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines! and Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-.
The main voice cast features Shōgo Sakata as Mizunoe Ume, joined by Haruka Shiraishi as Hisako Kotobuki, Miyu Tomita as Komaro Michinoku, Hiyori Kōno as Tan Otori, Shizuka Ishigami as Arisu Terui, and Yumi Uchiyama as Satomi Hiratsuka. Musical accompaniment is composed by Tomoki Kikuya, with Sangatsu no Phantasia performing the opening theme song "Kaze no Naka wa Hashirukkya Inai" and Akari Nanawo handling the ending theme "Pi".

Muchimaro originally launched the manga in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine in 2022, quickly winning over readers with its blend of heartwarming comedy and eccentric characters. The series won the print category at the ninth Next Manga Awards in 2023. Seven Seas publishes the manga in English, while Kodansha's K MANGA provides digital distribution.
