The romantic comedy anime adaptation Oh Boy, Was I Wrong About Her (known in Japan as Tenbin) has revealed a final fourth teaser visual alongside a special commemorative trailer. The series wrapped up its 12-episode broadcast run on September 21, 2026, after premiering earlier that summer on July 6.
The newly released trailer showcases the shifting seasons through the eyes of the story's heroine, Haruki Nikaido, highlighting winter, spring, summer, and fall aesthetics that defined the production's promotional campaign.
Behind the Production and Voice Cast
Animation production for the series was handled by Project No. 9. Chuanfeng Xu served as director, joined by Deko Akao as series composer, and N-Nei Kurahashi providing character designs. The main voice cast features Ikumi Hasegawa starring as Haruki Nikaido alongside Shunichi Toki as Hayato Kirishima.
Franchise Origins and Light Novel Success
The anime adapts the light novel series written by Yu Hibari and illustrated by Shiso, published under the Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko imprint. Originating as a web novel on Shosetsuka ni Naro in June 2020, the franchise also inspired a manga adaptation by Kina Oyama. English publisher Yen Press recently licensed the light novels for international release.
