The Independent Manga Alliance operates as an industry association and joint venture established by Manga Mavericks CEO Varun Gupta and Mahjong Pros head of partnerships and licensing Harrison Doan. The initiative aims to offer crucial distribution, marketing, and sales support to independent creators and boutique publishers, connecting them with Western and global partner distributors.
