Digital retailer BookWalker Global has entered an official distribution partnership with specialized imprint Mahjong Pros Publishing. The initiative brings a curated selection of localized mahjong instructional books and competitive manga series directly to the storefront's international audience.
Catalog Expansion
The initial wave of releases showcases a mix of practical competitive literature, biographical memoirs, and political satire:
- Senba Kurono's tactical guide 136 Ready-to-Use Mahjong Strategies and Tactics
- Hideki Ohwada's political satire manga Reform with No Wasted Draws - The Legend of Koizumi (Volumes 1–2)
- Mio Junta and Suda Yoshiki's biographical work Crybaby Mermaid - Illustrated Memoir of Yuumi Uotani
- Ayato Sasakura's profile series Vermilion Stella - Illustrated Memoir of Arisa Date (Volume 1)
Mahjong Pros originally launched its dedicated publishing branch in mid-2025 with the goal of translating and licensing prominent riichi mahjong works for English readers. These additions join BookWalker's revamped global platform, which recently introduced Lightweight Content Protection (LCP) DRM compatibility to facilitate reading across external compliant e-reader software.
