The high-stakes survival saga is set to continue as the official website for the television anime adaptation of Asari Endō's Magical Girl Raising Project Restart light novel series confirmed an October 5 premiere. The broadcast will kick off on TV Tokyo during its late-night 2:00 a.m. block, with subsequent airings scheduled on AT-X and BS Fuji starting October 7.

Director Hiroyuki Hashimoto returns from the original 2016 anime adaptation to helm the new entry, reuniting with series composition writer Takao Yoshioka and sound director Satoki Iida. Character designs are handled by Masako Itou, adapted from the original light novel illustrations by Maruino. Animation production shifts to studio SynergySP, taking over from Lerche.
The musical roster for the upcoming season includes veterans of the franchise:
