Production & Heritage
Animation studio E&H Production is leading the project under director Yui Umemoto (Ninja Kamui), supported by assistant director Takayuki Sano. Shigeru Murakoshi oversees series composition, while Satomi Watanabe handles character design. On the musical front, renowned composer Yuki Kajiura (Puella Magi Madoka Magica) collaborates with Takumi Ozawa and Shiho Terada to craft the show's soundtrack.
Originally serialized in Kodansha's Nakayoshi magazine between 1993 and 1996, CLAMP's original manga remains one of the defining titles of 1990s shojo fantasy, celebrated for its pioneering blend of magical girl elements with traditional mecha tropes and high-stakes isekai storytelling.
