At a special stage presentation during Tokyo Game Show 2026, KADOKAWA officially announced that franchise veteran singer Machico will perform the main theme song for the upcoming PC and smartphone game Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! ~Kono Aisubeki Machi ni Hanei wo!~ (shortened as Machisuba). Titled "WOOHOO!", the newly written track is designed to complement the energetic and chaotic atmosphere that fans expect from the comedy fantasy series.
Subtitled an "Isekai Trouble Life RPG," Machisuba allows players to experience an original narrative set within the familiar world created by Natsume Akatsuki, who is directly supervising the project's story. Illustrator Kurone Mishima serves as a production collaborator. The title is scheduled for launch in 2026 across the App Store, Google Play, and PC via DMM GAMES. Pre-registrations for the mobile versions are currently live.
The title brings back the main voice cast from the anime adaptation, including Jun Fukushima as Kazuma, Sora Amamiya as Aqua, Rie Takahashi as Megumin, and Ai Kayano as Darkness. During the TGS 2026 live stream, Fukushima joined KADOKAWA game producer Daiki Fujii on stage to present gameplay details and discuss the new musical track.

Machico, who previously performed iconic KonoSuba opening themes such as "fantastic dreamer" and "TOMORROW", shared her thoughts regarding her return to the franchise:
