Film label NOTHING NEW has debuted a new promotional trailer for director Kōhei Kadowaki's original animated feature, We Are Aliens (Ware Ware wa Uchūjin). The preview spotlights the film's theme song, "Sasakure" (Split), performed by singer adieu, accompanied by brand-new footage edited and directed by Kadowaki himself.
The narrative explores the intricate bond between childhood friends Tsubasa and Gyōtarō. Close companions in elementary school, their friendship fractured under the weight of unspoken jealousy and misunderstandings. Years later, having drifted down vastly different paths into adulthood, resurfacing memories force them to confront the unresolved fractures of their past.
